The graffiti adds a colorful, random element to the vista.   I was getting into the colors of the extreme registers of the instrument. Trying to make a sonic landscape with the deep lows interspersed with sparkling highs. After listening to this piece, all I could think about was rocks, water, and caves as seen through a later 20th century tv filter of sorts. And then, creepy people looking very disconcerted by what they are hearing. A friend of mine heard this music and commented"uh oh, something bad is gonna happen". I think that sums it up.   I recently attended a wedding. Two very close friends. Spending that special time with them was very meaningful to me; I really value their friendship. I joined them and their close friends and family after the wedding, to hang a bit more. It was a really great night, beautiful warm feelings. I wanted to share those feelings, through music. Although not to be taken as a literal representation of events, this music is rooted in that positive experience.
